Promo Video

When making promotional videos, I first browsed a lot of promotional videos on the Internet. I spend a lot of time watching all kinds of promotional videos, including product promotion, event promotion, brand promotion, etc. Through these observations, I was able to learn how different types of promotional videos are designed, shot, and edited, as well as the different strategies and techniques they employ   PLAY - The Dance Agency | Virtual Show (Cinematic Promo Video) - YouTube In this video, I learned that during transitions between shots, it's effective to leave a brief pause to allow the audience to comprehend the current scene and prepare for the next one. This pause, achieved through a short black screen or a blurred effect, gives viewers a momentary breathing space as the scenes switch. Fashion AR Promotional Video - YouTube This is also an AR project, similar to mine. In this promotional video, I learned how to better demonstrate the effects of AR. The functions and featur...

I went to a dog therapy event at school and met this puppy called poppy who is five years old. Pets always bring happiness to human beings. I found that the UK is very pet friendly and you can see dogs in all kinds of public places, such as undergrounds and trains. But in China, dogs are not allowed in many public places and there are not so many dog parks.

User test

After completing my five AR mask designs, I had my friends around me try them out. They provided feedback to help me further refine my masks. Friend A expressed a preference for eye interaction, suggesting that in the angelfish mask, the fish's eyes should light up when users blink. Consequently, I incorporated more eye interaction features, including in the shark and lobster masks where tears flow when users blink. Friend B desired a more terrifying effect, prompting me to enhance the audio effects to add to the overall horror experience. With feedback from my friends, I continuously adjusted and improved my designs, striving to meet the desires of the audience for each mask. User testing enriched my designs further.

GuilFord castle  A rich man's back garden with a high tulip content. Tulips and a variety of small brightly coloured flowers that bloom in the spring are so healed by these flowers that you can wander around the garden blowing in the wind and sitting idly. It's really cosy. Everywhere you look in the UK there are people sunbathing on the lawns, something you rarely see in China. This kind of freedom, relaxation and enjoyment is what I have been pursuing!

Lobster rigging

This is the process of binding my lobster mask bones. lobster bone binding was the hardest for me, and I failed over and over again. The hardest thing about binding a lobster bone is that there are so many tongs in a lobster, and I have a bone attached to each of them. During this process, I had to repeatedly adjust the position and Angle of each bone to ensure that their movement in the animation was natural and smooth. I spent a lot of time and effort fine-tuning to try to capture the true dynamics of the opening and closing of the lobster pliers.

ATV Sunset Chase is one of the classic Kapa tourist attractions, which involves driving a ‘go-kart’ that chugs like a tractor! At sunset, under the guidance of the leader, form a line and make a big circle in the valley of Kapa, hitting 3-4 classic spots. The whole tour takes about 1 hour. When you ride it, you just feel free, brave, open and unimpeded, leaving all the stress and anxiety behind, it will make you rethink some life possibilities, to have the courage to plan or realise some dreams that you have always wanted to do but didn't have the courage to do.

The best time to see Notting Hill is when it clears up instantly and I have to say, when it clears up instantly, the mood is really sunny! The colourful houses look 100 times better in person than in photos. In fact, Notting Hill is a street that weaves through the neighbourhood, and in three to five steps, you can come across different colourful houses. This time, we didn't coincide with the weekend market, so we just browsed around the shops nearby, such as clothing shops, cutlery shops, and art shops.

The nights are not so long. The morning dawns brighter. Flowers bloom, birds sing. The earth comes back to life. The life that hibernates awakens. The sleeping earth is reborn. Spring is in the air. The British winter season is finally coming to an end.  some pretty flowers behind the school.

In terms of shark animation production, I initially intended to create an animation of the shark's mouth opening and closing, and I even looked up some tutorials online. However, the final result wasn't very satisfactory. Therefore, I decided to adopt the method of skeletal binding, attaching the skeleton to the two fins of the shark to achieve the movement of the fins swinging back and forth. This approach aligns better with the natural movements of a swimming shark and creates a more vivid effect in the animation, making the entire scene more realistic and captivating. https://b23.tv/1HXjNoP This is the link I found about mouth open and close animation tutorial.
