Jellyfish visual refernce
Once I determined that jellyfish were one of my masks, I began to delve into all aspects of jellyfish. I spent a lot of time collecting jellyfish-related material, including images, videos, and scientific information. Searching the internet for various images of jellyfish, I focused on their different species, colours and textures, as well as how they grow in different environments. I pay special attention to their graceful and mysterious appearance, as well as their unique tentacle structure.
While observing the forms of jellyfish, I noticed their fascinating transparency and soft body contours. I was particularly drawn to their shimmering bodies and soft tentacles, features that would become key elements of my masks.
In addition to their static forms, I also delved into the dynamics of jellyfish. I observed the way they move slowly through the water, as well as the dance of their tentacles and the flow of their bodies. I found that when jellyfish dance underwater, it seems like a languid dance, full of grace and mysterious glamour. These dynamic observations gave me a deeper understanding of the properties of jellyfish and provided inspiration for my mask design.
